Building CP capacity become Associate experts, primarily in industry, but also in industry associations, government, research institutes, financial institutions, universities, consultants, etc. Expanding group of associate experts that can deliver RECP services to enterprises and other organizations in different regions and sectors. The basic training will be on the RECP assessment methodology and include a combination of class room training and supervised execution of RECP assessment(s) for selected companies using the UNIDO CP toolkit and other resources, leading to awarding of a UNIDO CP Award upon presentation of a successfully completed audit.
Short term thematic training modules will be developed and then regularly offered to foster further professional development, on topics that emerge from implementation of the programme (e.g. chemical leasing, water efficiency, waste minimization, life cycle assessment, etc.) and support implementation of newly-adapted technologies newly-developed policies.
